Our intentions

Develop training material for supporting FabLab users and FabLab Tutors/Teachers including:
contents for design, coding and manufacturing with main focus on IoT, 5G, AI/Big Data and Blockchain technologies.

The main project objectives include:

- development of learning and teaching strategies and concept/guidelines for FabLabs mainly oriented to IoT related technologies like Blockchain and AI/Big Data.
- development of didactic methods covering several target groups (University degree studies and general public),
- development of learning material (blended learning including e-learning, face-to-face, workshops),
- development of curriculum for training of design, manufacturing of prototypes using IoT, and AI/Big data technologies applied to industry or similar - organization of training activities for tutors,
- test of the learning material and tutorial during testing initiatives (courses),
- optimization of learning content for tutors,

Toolkit

The project’s toolkit includes a teaching guide, methodology, soft skills & inclusion strategies, and four course Units. It also provides required materials per unit and teacher reflections for evaluation.

Guidelines for IoT FabLab development

The Guidelines for IoT FabLab Development, produced as part of the Erasmus+ FabLabs project, synthesise stakeholder surveys into pedagogical and technical recommendations for creating blended learning environments, curricula, and training frameworks for IoT-oriented FabLabs in Europe.
